Children who have lost one or both parents

Support Orphaned Children from Gaza

Palestine Aid is supporting orphaned children, children who have lost one or both parents, and vulnerable children affected by the Gaza crisis.

Our support includes psychosocial care, child protection support, education assistance, and urgent humanitarian aid for children inside Gaza and those displaced in Egypt.

Across Gaza, vast numbers of families have been displaced, and many children have been left without the care, protection, and stability every child needs. UNICEF has estimated that at least 17,000 children in Gaza are unaccompanied or separated from their parents, representing around 1% of the displaced population.

Many children have experienced unimaginable loss. Some have lost one parent, both parents, or wider family members. Others have been separated from their caregivers due to displacement, injury, or the collapse of normal family and community support systems.

Why Your Support Matters

Many children from Gaza have lost parents, been separated from family, or suffered severe trauma through war and displacement. Children displaced to Egypt remain vulnerable, facing interrupted education, emotional distress, and ongoing uncertainty.
